Extralink SFP RJ45 with a throughput of 1000 Mb/s is a powerful, cost-effective module that complies with Gigabit Ethernet and 1000-BASE-T standards as defined in IEEE 802. 3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab. The SFP RJ45 cartridge supports a data transfer rate of 1000 Mb/s over a maximum distance of to 100 meters for category 5 Ethernet cable. The SFP RJ45 module supports full duplex data links with a throughput of 1000 Mbps with 5-level Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM). All four pairs in the cable are used at a symbolic rate of 250 Mbps for each pair. Extralink SFP RJ45 provides standard serial ID information, compliant with SFP MSA, which can be accessed via the A0h address via 2-wire CMOS EEPROM serial protocol. The physical IC can also be accessed via the 2-wire serial bus at the A0h address. The SFP RJ45 insert is compatible with most Gigabit SFP ports on network devices. The SFP Ethernet module’s all-metal housing makes it a low EMI device. Presented cartridge is designed for HP/Arub devices.
